January Meeting
New Business:
All meetings at the American Legion will be held in the downstairs community room.
The minutes from the last meeting were approved and the Treasurer's report was given.
16 members attended
Club members submitted multiple new projects for cycling related projects for 2012.
Proposals include purchasing
new magnetic sag signs;
New hazard warning signs for the PPR ride;
A new heavy duty bike for residents of Friendship Village;
Purchase of tricycles for Head Start;
Club subsidizing for new jerseys;
Reduced club dues for recruitment of one new person for club
membership;
An antique bicycle presentation, which the community will be invited
to attend; and
Signage and road markings for the I & M Canal in Ottawa
dedicated to former member Doc Harbeck.
New officers for 2012:
President - Don Dirks
Vice President - Tim Gatas
Treasurer - Dixie DeVry
Secretary - Doug Brann
Dixie DeVry won the 50/50 lotto, unfortunately she was not in attendance.

The next PPR club meeting will be held at 7:00 pm, February 28, 2012 at the American Legion Hall in downtown Ottawa, 901 LaSalle St. Enter through the (Members only) front door.
